INDENTwire has earned popularity mainly as a molding stretching inhibitor (linear expansion inhibitor) for various automobile moldings.
Conventionally, steel or other flat plates with adhesive applied were inserted into molten resin for extrusion molding. However, this process required adhesive application and drying facilities with substantial man-hours. Also, the use of solvent caused environmental concerns.
INDENTwire was developed to solve these problems.
INDENTwire is a flat zinc-plated steel plate with its front and back face evenly indented with a mill roll with a sculptured pattern.
INDENTwire is inserted into molten resin and due to the anchor effect from the indented mark and molten resin, this product and extruded resin adhere tightly to each other, preventing linear expansion and shrinkage of molding.
*All types of resin are accommodated.
・Wire Diameter (Thickness × Width) 0.55mm×2.00mm

- Zinc coated soft steel rods. Steel wires with consistent indent machining.
- The anchoring effect of printed characters prevents linear expansion or contraction in the molding.
- Supporting all types of resin.
- The coefficient of linear expansion for the formed product closely approximates that of steel.
- Eliminates adhesive used and environmentally friendly
Zinc coated soft steel rods. Steel wires with TPO adhesive applied evenly to the surface and baked.
- Forms consistently with straight expansion and supports increased extrusion line speed.
- Enables precision cutting during extrusion forming.
- Enables elimination of annealing processes.
- Achieve reduced total cost.
